My first impression of the book is very well, because I like the character of Tom Sawyer. He is very lazy and he loves it to make jokes. I ask me if he´s good at school or bad or if he would fall in love with somebody?In the first part that I read, Tom creped away from his aunt Polly, which is a nice old Madame and she´s wearing glasses only which was built for style.
When Tom didn´t go to school and Aunt Polly guess it before she talk to Tom, when he came home at the evening. She asked him some questions about the hot day at school, because she knows that he wasn´t at school. But Tom checked the trap and was cool and when Polly nothing had to say and Tom wanted to go, Sid, the half brother of Tom, gave the crucial clue and Tom got a penalty.
On the next day, a perfect summer day and every boy was outside, Tom had to paint the fence. Because he´s so clever, he tricked all the boys out and in the end he had nothing done and the fence was painted. Here you can see how clever he is. In my life I didn´t have to do something like this, maybe to put the dish out of the dishwasher, but to paint a fence NO! When I come to my grandma then I weed something but before I´m finish she says that we make teatime and so I never get finished.
I think the situation is not as similar as my situation, because it happened in the time when white and black people are not so well together, you can see it by Tom Sawyer because they had a slave as their butler.
I think you can´t really compare Tom Sawyer with another person, because Tom is a person who´s clever and lazy at the same time. You see it when he´s idle. He thinks about how he don´t need to do the things he had to do. So he´s really smart, because he seldom has to do the things by himself.
I have not really read a lot of the book now, but I know that there a lot of experiences and adventures are coming soon (in the book).
