CHARACTER ANALYSIS

Now, after I have read a lot of the book, I like Huckleberry Finn most, because his character is so funny, jolly and he´s thinking always positive. I like him most, because he is self-assured and make things on his own. But sometimes he´s a little bit stubborn.

Now I will say something about the character of Tom Sawyer. When Tom and Huckleberry Finn were in the night at the graveyard, they noticed that Injun Joe, Muff Potter and Doctor Robinson retrieval a dead body out of the grave in a wheel barrow. But when Injun Joe demanded more money, because the doctor wanted to have the dead body for some experiences, he killed the doctor with the knife of Muff Potter. Unfortunately was Muff Potter unconscious, when Joe had killed the doctor. So Joe said to Muff, Muff had killed the doctor.

Even though Tom and Huck saw this, they swear nothing to say, because they were frightened.

(A long time later)

But when Muff Potter had to be judicial killed with the gallows, Tom said that Muff wasn´t the murder.

Here you clearly see the character of Tom. In the beginning Tom said nothing and kept mum and holds his promise. But then when he would be responsible for the dead of an innocent man, he said the truth and saved Muff Potter from the dead.

I found it really hard how reckless Injun Joe was, at first of the book you thought that he and the hobo Muff Potter are best friends, but in the end you can see how nasty Injun Joe is.

If I could write a little letter to the author, it looks like this:

Dear Mark Twain,

After I had read your book, I found it really good that Injun Joe died of hunger in the hole, because he was the malefactor and get at least his penalty.
